Mr. Khan is the original creator of the Contrast American Simulation, as developed by HumRRO scientists under the guidance of Dr. Edward C. Stewart. Mr. Khan portrays a contrast-culture with different value orientations when interacting with value systems, attitudes, behaviors, and thought patterns that are defined as western. Using the techniques of role-play and work related scenarios, Mr. Khan depicts a cultural reality of a non-western orientation and expresses life experiences in a simulated cross-cultural encounter. The purpose of this encounter is to help participants gain greater insight into their own cultural ways and values, behaviors and thought processes of other peoples. Mr. Khan regularly consults with numerous public and private organizations, helping prepare U.S. nationals to both live and work abroad as well as to function more effectively within the United States on business related matters. |
