Barbara Muhlenberg has been in international human resources since 1988 working for accounting, consulting, and investment banking companies. She recently joined Accenture as Manager of Global Mobility assisting with setting global mobility strategy and policy for over 14,000 expats on short and long term assignments. Prior to Accenture, she worked at Raytheon Technical Services Company as an International Human Resources Manager supporting over 400 expatriates. In addition, Barbara became a qualified Six Sigma Specialist and participated on an internal six sigma team to address repatriation issues and as a result created a website tool for expatriates to utilize to seek job opportunities within the company prior to repatriation.
Barbara in an active member of the Society of Human Resources Management and the Northern Virginia International Human Resources Special Interest Group.
Barbara earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the State University of New York at Oswego in 1983. She currently resides with her husband Fred and 21 month old son Matthew in Vienna, Virginia.
