Sharon Rudy : Vice-President for International Health at the Public Health Institute and Project Director of the Population Leadership Program

She helped found the USAID/WHO Implementing Best Practices Consortium that addresses research-to-practice issues. As Senior Program Officer at Johns Hopkins University Center for Health Communication Programs, Dr. Rudy spent 8 years designing and implementing national multi-media health campaigns in East Africa and Asia. After focusing on training and performance improvement as the Associate Project Director in a large USAID funded project, she began working at the Public Health Institute as Vice-President for International Health and at the same time as the Population Leadership Program’s Project Director, a $44 million program dedicated to improving the leadership, management, and sustainability of accessible high-quality health programs. Sharon earned M.Ed., Ed.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Counseling and Organizational Consulting.
