Skye Stephenson, PhD, is an international educator and transformative cross-cultural specialist with extensive knowledge about the Latin American region. She is the Founder of Jade Journeys (www.jadejourneys.org), which makes available transformative travel opportunities in the Americas. She has worked as Regional Director for The Council on International Educational Exchange (CIEE) and The School for International Training (SIT). Skye coined the increasingly used term “cross-cultural deepening” in 2002 to describe the complexity of the intercultural learning process as she perceived it.
