The Peace Corps provides comprehensive training (language, cross-cultural, technical, health, safety and security), but what prepares isolated workers for high stress situations such as the constant illness and exposure to deaths from HIV/AIDS? Resiliency training can act as fire drills: it can provide practice. Participants in this session will engage in some interactive training activities and discuss some of the analogies, cross-cutting topics, and lessons in this type of training.
