This workshop will explore the role that the “dark” unconscious plays in intercultural learning and give participants the opportunity to try out a few “deep” experiential activities that can help facilitate cross-cultural adjustment. The presenter will combine her research findings on the role of dreaming during periods of intensive cross-cultural immersion with elements drawn from depth psychology, healing modalities and shamanic practices to forward an innovative method for supporting people during cross cultural adjustment.
